I own a vaio which needed repair and was told by Sony to take the unit to geek squad . Two geek squad locations refused to accept the unit for repair. Sony out of frustration directed me to a UPS store which then shipped the unit to geek squad. I was later advised by geek squad that the unit had been "repaired" and it was returned to me. It was filthy and sticky as if it had been used as a snack tray. A piece of plastic that was in good condition when it left my possession was partially torn loose. geek squad changed the password on the unit (I had to give the password to GS with the repair application but upon receipt of the unit my password no longer worked). On top of that I have had the unit for 5 days and have not been able to get anyone at GS to respond to my emails asking that it share with me the new password that it inserted into the unit... it appears that I will be forced to seek legal recourse to get reimbursement for a unit that is now useless to me.
